Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our dogs and/or cats. We require an approved application before setting up a meet and greet with the foster family. You can also meet an animal at a scheduled adoption event. When we receive your application, we will process it. Once all references are checked, we will notify you whether your application has been approved or not. After you have been approved, we will schedule a time for you to meet your potential new family member. If the meeting goes well, we can complete the adoption paperwork. Because we want our dogs/cats to go to the right, forever home, and we want our adopters to have the pet that is right for them, we cannot guarantee that you will be approved for the pet you have applied for. If this should be the case, we will work with you to find the right match. We do work with other rescues and shelters, so if we do not currently have the pet you are looking for, we can possibly help you find one elsewhere. Please Note: Lola's Landing, Inc. reserves the right to deny the adoption of any pet for any reason.
About adoption fees: Lola’s Landing Animal Rescue Inc is a private, 501c3 not-for-profit organization that relies completely on private donations and our own fundraising to operate and save lives. We receive no federal, state, or government funding, nor do we receive funds from any national animal welfare organizations. Adoption fees help pay some of the costs for providing all animals at our rescue with basic needs, medical care, and when necessary, behavior rehabilitation.
Our dogs are vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before adoption age appropriate

Adoption Fees-Until Dec 31st 2017
Dog Adoption Fees $350
Cat Adoption Fees: $100 for 1 or $150 for 2
These fees cover only a fraction of what we will spend to care for the animals that we take in. Several of our dogs have needed heart worm treatment and both cats and dogs have needed expensive surgeries to improve their quality of life, and in some cases, to save their life.
Please also keep in mind that we have to pay for food, crates, blankets, beds, toys, grooming supplies, and anything else that our rescue dogs and cats could possibly need. Any additional contribution you would like to make at the time of the adoption or in the future is greatly appreciated.
Think our fees are a bit pricey? If you decide to get a dog or cat that is advertised as free to a good home, here are just some of the expenses you will incur if you are a responsible pet owner:
Female Dog: Spay $300-$800 Male Dog: Neuter $200-$400
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations $15-$30/piece
Heartworm Test $30-$50
Total cost to you: $375-$950
Our cats are vaccinated for Rabies and FVRCP, FELV/FIV tested, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before adoption
